A little over four years ago, my husband and I applied for an adoption grant through Grafted. After much prayer, our family had decided to pursue adoption and while we felt lead to adopt, we were overwhelmed by the cost of the process. We’ve never been a family to have much excess money. My husband is a Pastor and at the time, we had four biological children. We decided to move forward in faith, but we had yet to see how the Lord would provide the $30,000 for the adoption. We were grateful to friends and family who provided a portion of the funds needed, but it was Grafted that gave us that final financial push.

Words cannot express our gratitude to Grafted. When you make the decision to open up your home and your family in order to care for a child, your mind and heart are already overwhelmed with all of the “hows” and “what ifs.”  The financial burden adds another layer of concern. Grafted allowed us to welcome Ava into our family without the added stress of debt. She has been the most wonderful gift over these last three years.  We are so grateful to have taken those steps of faith and we are thankful to Grafted for having come alongside us in such a meaningful and generous way.
